Friends With Benefits Board of Directors Application
Thank you for your interest in serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Friends With Benefits. Serving on the board is a rewarding experience and an opportunity to help our community in fun and innovative ways. Completing this form will help you understand the skills and time/resource commitments of this leadership position.
Applications are used by the current Board of Directors to identify and evaluate potential board candidates. All new directors are elected by a majority vote of current board members. Applications are reviewed as they come in.
BOARD MEMBER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves a minimum of one (1) two-year term on the Board. There are no term limits and, therefore, Directors may serve any number of consecutive terms.
Board meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. Board members are required to attend a minimum of nine board meetings, allowing for three absences.
Participates in fundraising activities including utilizing your social network by sharing FWB events on your personal social media platforms, in social media groups you are in, inviting friends/colleagues to events, etc.
There is no monetary commitment or compensation for board members.
