Friends With Benefits Board of Directors Application

Thank you for your interest in serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Friends With Benefits. Serving on the board is a rewarding experience and an opportunity to help our community in fun and innovative ways. Completing this form will help you understand the skills and time/resource commitments of this leadership position. 

Applications are used by the current Board of Directors to identify and evaluate potential board candidates. All new directors are elected by a majority vote of current board members. Applications are reviewed as they come in. 

BOARD MEMBER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves a minimum of one (1) two-year term on the Board. There are no term limits and, therefore, Directors may serve any number of consecutive terms.

  • Board meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. Board members are required to attend a minimum of nine board meetings, allowing for three absences. 

  • Participates in fundraising activities including utilizing your social network by sharing FWB events on your personal social media platforms, in social media groups you are in, inviting friends/colleagues to events, etc. 

  • There is no monetary commitment or compensation for board members.
