Keep Denton Warm Business Spotlights
Keep Denton Warm is a clothing drive put on by Friends With Benefits each year. The drive works to provide those suffering from homelessness with winter wear clothing. Boxes, donated by Little Guys Movers, have been placed at the following locations where donations can be made through December 12th, 2021. Looking for something fun to do, want to support local? Go ahead and check out what these businesses have to offer and support the those experiencing homelessness all with one stop.
Bearded Monk: The Bearded Monk is Denton’s first, craft beer only, bottle shop and growler fill bar. Located on McKinney St, at the north side of Downtown Denton’s Craft Beer District, The Bearded Monk is the place to have a beer or two while shopping for that perfect craft beer for your party or picnic. We’re located just north of Denton’s Historic Courthouse Museum in the beautiful Downtown Square and just south of The Civic Center, Arts & Jazz Fest location.
Koan School: Koan School is a non-profit private school serving students in K - 12th grade. Our mission is to provide a low-cost alternative for private education while keeping class sizes small enough to accommodate the diverse interests and skills of young learners in our community. The school is located on a beautiful 15-acre farmstead, complete with animals, natural ponds, and woods for exploring.
Bloom Yoga: Bloom Yoga is a worker-owned yoga co-op dedicated to an inclusive, healing, and empowering yoga practice. Our teachers offer a range of classes that invite you to breathe deeply and connect with yourself and others while you open and strengthen your body, mind, and spirit. We hope to plant seeds that will help you root down, be present, move, grow, and change: to “bloom” into your truest self.
Game Changers: Game Changers is Denton's one and only game bar. Whether you're a sports fan, a retro video gamer, a board game fanatic, or a puzzle fiend we've got you covered. We have more TV's showing more games than any other bar in Denton. We have an ever-changing selection of classic arcade games for you to play until your thumbs ache. Or maybe you'd rather test your mettle at air hockey or hoops? Board games, both classic and obscure, and puzzles ranging from the simple to the mind-numbing are all available. And best of all, you can take on all the games on offer over dinner from our extensive menu and drinks served by the friendliest bartenders in town.

Miss Angeline's: A house of fine taste with a focus on cocktails on tap, infusions, craft beer, Non-alcoholic beverages, and Mocktails. Located right off the downtown Denton square it’s the perfect happy hour spot.
Denton County Brewing Company: DCBC is a locally owned, independent craft brewery. We serve beer born and brewed in Denton, Texas, alongside guest taps, wines, ciders, sake, and plenty of positive vibes. Take your average craft beer bar and crank up the fun. Think of an adult playground; complete with board games, trivia nights, delicious appetizers, and the coolest bar staff in the game.
Harvest House: Located just East of the Downtown Denton Square, Harvest House is Denton’s largest all-in-one concert venue, bar, beer garden, and a juice/coffee shop that serves up cocktails, coffee, kombucha, tea, smoothies, and freshly squeezed juice to our patrons. Lounge in our spacious patio with fire pits and be entertained by some amazing live musical talent. Join us in the back yard or side yard for a variety of games including pool, corn hole, darts, Jenga, and giant Connect Four. Feeling hungry? Choose from gourmet tacos, burgers, egg rolls, or the famous Banh Mi Sandwich from our resident food truck “The Pickled Carrot II”.
The Mug: A drive-thru stand serving the local community with locally sourced coffee, tea, fun.
Squeeze: At Squeeze, we believe Fresh Organic Juice, Smoothies and a variety of Healthy Food choices on our menu will support your health and happiness. We are 100 percent Organic and 100 percent Denton.
